On September 22, 2025, Yonyou Singapore hosted the Xiamen University SEE ASEAN Leadership Program for a discussion on Chinese enterprises going global, covering strategies, localization, and expansion in Southeast Asia.

Howard Chen, General Manager of Yonyou Southeast Asia opened the event with a welcome address.He reviewed Yonyou’s 16-year journey in Southeast Asia, highlighting how the company has worked hand in hand with local partners to successfully support the digital transformation of over 450 enterprises. He emphasized that while Southeast Asia presents vast market potential for Chinese enterprises going global, it also requires a long-term commitment and a localization-driven strategic vision.

Following this, Xinxin Zhang, Sales Director of Yonyou Singapore, focused on globalization strategies for Chinese enterprises going abroad.She provided an in-depth analysis of the challenges companies face during international expansion, including compliance, taxation, business development, and organizational management.

He noted that mid-market companies in Southeast Asia often face challenges such as weak IT infrastructure, talent shortages, and the need to adjust management practices.
